Cricket legend and one of the greatest spin ballers of all time Shane Warne who is currently in India leading the Rajasthan Royals cricket team plans to launch his apparel brand Spinners in India soon.

Spinners by Shane Warne has proven itself as an emerging leader in the Australian ‘Spashion™’ (sport + fashion) market and currently sells at Target stores across the country. Originally launched as an underwear brand in November 2009, Spinners has diversified into mens and boys spashion apparel. The brand now sells underwears, socks, tees, shirts, jeans and cargos. By launching his own clothing brand Warne has followed in the footsteps of a number international sports celebrities such as David Beckham, Ian Thorpe and Michael Clarke who also have their own fashion labels.

Shane Warne seems to have hit a good patch leading Rajasthan royals in the IPL and will certainly use his cricket and Bollywood connections in India to spread the word about his brand. India is a cricket crazy nation so fans will certainly look forward to trying something unique like Spinners. Shane will almost certainly hope that his nemesis Sachin Tendulkar doesn’t get a similar idea in the future as that could literally kill his brand even if it succeeds in India and establishes itself initially.
